Updated ValidDebiCheckRejectionCodes
We have updated the ValidDebiCheckRejectionCodes to include Nedbank mandate reason code 902319. This code indicates "Mandate cancelled, collection removed from tracking." Payments failing with this code will fail without triggering a retry. Read the docs.
-
Renamed validators
We've renamed the greaterThan and lessThan validators for better clarity.
greaterThanNumber
->greaterThanEqualsToNumber
lessThanNumber
->lessThanOrEqualsToNumber
greaterThanCurrency
->greaterThanEqualsToCurrency
lessThanCurrency
->lessThanOrEqualsToCurrency
greaterThanLength
->greaterThanEqualsToLength
lessThanLength
->lessThanOrEqualsToLength
The old validators remain functional for backward compatibility, but the documentation now reflects the updated names. Read the docs.
-
User group insights added to the Data Adapter
You can now access data about your user group setup through the Data Adapter, gaining insights into a user groupβs users and permissions. Read the docs.
-
New and updated product module templates
We have updated the Pet template product module and added Bicycle and Travel template product modules for both the ZA and UK Multi-tenant stacks. You can access these updates when creating a new product module in any ZA or UK org. These template products will now be automatically updated with any future changes. To get started on Root, read the docs.
-
Workbench command enhancements
We've made the following improvements to Workbench commands to provide you with a better building experience:
- rp push: rp push now compares the product module name in your directory to the remote product module and if changes are detected will give the option to publish the changes immediately. Read the docs.
-
Enhancements to your Dashboard
We are in the process of rolling out dashboard enhancements across all clients. You may have noticed the following additions to your dashboard tooling:
- Requote application enhancements: The design of the requote flows will be optimised to match the latest updates to the policy issuing flow.
- Custom views: Optimise your workflow by creating custom views for Policy and Claims lists based on your preferred filters. Read the docs.
- Data stores: This new functionality in the Data management section allows you to store data sets on Root and can be used to store variables for premium calculation or benefits. Read the docs.
- Policyholder lookup: Avoid recapturing information of existing policyholders when issuing a new policy to an existing policyholder.
- Webhooks: This new dashboard view lets you see all the webhooks created for your organisation in a single, user-friendly view.
If you have any suggestions or feedback, please share them with your Project Lead or submit them via the Root product roadmap so that we can take them into account.
Let's build this awesome new future of insurance together πͺ
